Meet Charlie

Born in  Hartford Connecticut and raised in South Florida riding horses, Charlie’s journey soon led her far beyond the East Coast. After high school—and with a nudge from her mother—she joined the WWOOF program, which brought her across the country to her very first farm: Apricot Lane Farms in Southern California.

Since her time working on The Biggest Little Farm, Charlie has immersed herself in a wide range of regenerative agricultural practices. Her hands-on experience includes rotational grazing of poultry and livestock, edible forest gardens and orchard management, no-till market gardening, native plantings, and most recently, mushroom inoculation and cultivation.

Today, that journey has blossomed into her newest chapter—her very own flower farm. Using a no-till approach and growing a thoughtful mix of perennials and annuals, Charlie infuses her values of intention, sustainability, and artistry into every stem. She offers locally grown, regenerative blooms to the communities of Baltimore County and City—and is excited to grow alongside the vibrant community she now calls home.

Alongside her work in farming, Charlie has been a lifelong nanny—a role that has deepened her appreciation for care, creativity, and human connection. From a young age, she had the opportunity to travel to beautiful and inspiring places. Whether discovering elegance and grace in the cultures of Europe or connecting with the raw beauty of nature while backpacking through South America, these experiences continue to shape her floral designs and bring soul to every bouquet she creates.

The June blooms are nearly here, and Charlie is eager to share them—with gratitude, purpose, and joy—as this new journey begins.
